Genacy explained
Write something now. Keep it sealed until the date you picked.
Reviewed 26 September 2026
Time capsules are built: seal a message and choose the date it opens. The feature is part of the current build; the application itself has not publicly opened.
A birthday, an anniversary or a future year can give a message its purpose. You decide what you want to say, the person it is for and the date it should open. A calendar date is the trigger described here; the feature does not imply automatic detection of life events.
Explain why you chose that date. Include the context your future reader might not remember. A family story, a lesson or a few words of encouragement can carry more meaning than a large collection of unexplained files.
During beta, confirm how recipients gain access, whether a sealed capsule can be changed, which timezone applies and what account or service-continuity conditions govern delivery. Those operational details are not specified on this public page. A planned opening date is not a promise of indefinite service operation.
