First entry. I am writing it on a Wednesday sick day in Alice Springs, which feels about right for a project built in the gaps of a working life.
I spent the morning on YouTube, working through how Cowork actually functions and collecting tricks. Work found me anyway, as it does on days off.
Genacy keeps moving. Reasonably well, in fact — I am learning an enormous amount. It is slower than I hoped and I am burning through AI usage faster than I expected, which are two sentences I suspect I will write again.
One thing worth flagging for anyone copying my homework: I set up a scheduled task to tidy my inbox — label things, clear the junk. It worked. It also cost a fortune in tokens for the value it returned. There is a smarter way to do that and I have not found it yet.
A day of learning and spotting problems, then. Not the day I planned, but not a wasted one either.
